Studio Update? You Got It!

Studio update?
* Still uninhabited by stampers and myself .... but coming right along.

Carpet and tile has been removed, followed by sanding machine + elbow grease + chisels in lots of places.  Walls prepped to fill previous nail holes + that unknown variety of 'what alien oopsie happened there'.  Painting is finished in main room.  Girly room will be last.

Tex's Tip:  When asking someone to remove your tile and prep for dye/stain .... I'd suggest a fave meal, various promises, and perhaps early-prep-cajoling in advance.  This job is not for the 'quicky'-do person.  And if you have to have it all done by class time in  (ex.) 5 days .... plan it for after that class ... unless you hire multiple worker bees.

This week is really making a difference ... and this chick is happy-happy about that!

Along with renovation of walls and floors, more changes are in the works for classes.    Eeeeeeps!

'Nuff said.

A Pop of Hello!

Poppin' in with a card featuring the new Pop of Paradise stamp set plus the already super-popular Pop of Pink designer series 12" X 12" collection.   Truth is, this one all started with a huge thunderstorm that caused a total shutdown of my outdoor yard work ambitions for the day.

Congratulations to Robin Lee on being the featured stamper over at Splitcoaststampers this week, FS488!  Her This Little Chick card inspired my card today.  As soon as I saw her chick, I knew I wanted to play with the fun flamingo from Pop of Paradise.

The 'Hello' dot is also part of the stamp set, and made an easy way to add popped up interest plus a greeting to the card all at the same time.  It fits the 1 1/4" circle punch perfectly.  A little strip of the graphic dsp was cut to create the little banners.   That little strip along the bottom of the black 'n white graphic dsp?  It's one of the very fun designs from the Pop of Pink Washi Tapes!

Psssst!  Have you been considering this sweet opportunity to get the starter kit for $99 while choosing $125 in products ... then *adding* 2 new stamp sets at any price range to the deal?  Please let me know, if you have questions or want the full scoop on my exclusive, additional team offerings.

Happy new week y'all!

A 'Pop' of Thinking of You!

Happy new week, m'friends!
Hope you had a marvelous weekend!  I spent much of it on the working end of a shovel ... hoping to create a couple of large places for planted pretties.  I'm not breaking any speed limits on shoveling ... guaranteed!

By late Sunday afternoon, I had to stop ... shower just "sounded" so good I couldn't resist any longer.  As soon as the dirt was draining away, I knew I wanted to get to inks, rubber, and paper.  Results?  I'm sharing a peek ahead at the delightful Pop of Pink designer series paper and the Pop of Paradise stamp set!

Both sides of this card feature the Pop of Pink designer series paper ... and there's plenty more to love in the collection for sure.

More than one package of this will play on my stampy table, without a doubt ... it's packed with B&W designs and Melon Mambo mixed with white or B&W on the reverse sides.  I'm deeming this collection as "To Love!"

Topped it off with just a little strip of Silver Foil Sheets and a tiny smattering of sequins from the Metallic Assortment Sequins, adhered with the super Fine-Tip Glue.

Wanna stamp along?  I'm currently setting up my newest online monthly stamp-of-the-month club ... if you'd like to be in on the first round, just email to let me know!   Room for you and a friend or two!  Today's card is an representative of the project tutorials you'll receive with membership.

Farewell to Big News in Formal Attire

Count me in as a big fan of big sentiments!
If it's heat embossed ... that's even better.  Case in point:

"Ever after" ... an amazing concept when pondering life itself ... the stuff of fairy tales!  Certainly something newlyweds hope to achieve.  Here it is in a lovely script font made even better by embossing in silver.

The 'Big News' stamp set offers several delightful sentiments, all ready to make a 'big statement' on your creations.

Since my easy tuxedo look requires no special measurements or folds, this is actually a quick card to reproduce.  The combination of the satin ribbon, silver embossing, silver foil layer, and black embossed designer paper all contribute to the elegant look with only a minute or two required to create the 'happily ever after' statement layer.
Like it?  Uhhmmmmm ...  Time is running out to order the retiring products I've used, which include the Big News stamp set, Ovals Framelits, Color Me Irresistible dsp (at a reduced price), and White Satin 5/8" ribbon.  I'm happy to accept your order today!  Click here to shop while supplies last.
