Straight Through the Heart(s)! * FMS272

Trying to get my inky play time in this week, as tomorrow takes me away from my own stampy zone for a few days.  Funny how that always makes me yearn to get back to my table of rubber + inks ... even now!  Hey ... I LOVE what I do!

The clean + simple sketch this week from Freshly Made Sketches is totally inspiring.  Basically, when I see circles I have to take a closer look.

Still having fun with the Love Notes Framelits, which include these arrows, slotted heart, folded double heart + lots more ... 14 dies in this set!  You can see more of these fabby dies in this previous post, and 1 of the darling envelopes in this post.  ;)

My colors are from the CC619 color challenge, along with adding the 'dessert' option of using dies!  Colors include Hello Honey, Rich Razzleberry, and Tempting Turquoise ... just in case you'd like to add a non-traditional twist to your valentines.  *wink*

Sale-A-Bration is in full swing!  I've welcomed new stampers to my fabby group, taking advantage of the sweet deal of adding two free stamp sets (any value!) to their kit.  And, there's still more free stamps + more for every order of $50+ ... no limits!  Let me know if you have any questions ... or even 'wishes'!   Download the catalogs from the side column 24/7.

Thanks a bunch for your sweet tokens of comments + cyber hugs.  Come see me at the convention center in Plano, TX this weekend if you're out 'n about!

A Quick Little Something for Little Mr. Right!

Hoping you've been having a beautiful opening to Spring, 2016!
Visiting guests, tourist-type comings 'n goings, and get-togethers of family and stampers have really been keeping me on my toes!  (Plus a falling ceiling ... then more falling ceiling ... hummppphhhhh! )

Stamping time took a bit of a 'hit' during recent days, so I needed a quick little something to calm that creative voice today.  What to choose?  What to stamp?  Choices are everywhere, m'friends!!  So I chose to browse the SCS Challenges just to zero-in on a plan.  Congratulations to Simone N over at SCS on being this week's featured stamper (FS478)!   Her girly baby card featuring a cute little giraffe instantly started my reach for my Something for Baby stamp set and coordinating Baby's First framelits.

Now I just need to create another one as "follow-up" in a girly version with a couple of changes, and I'll at least be prepared for the next "arrival"!  (Not here!   - Strictly in the 'friends' category at this point! LOL)   Or ... perhaps this will spur on a swap-creation-day for our upcoming OnStage event in Salt Lake City!  There's an idea!  Stampin' Up! demonstrators from SO many places will be gathering in just 2 more weeks in SLC for training, swapping, hugging, LOL's galore, and lots of "catching up" with friends plus making new friends!

Psssst!  If you adore quality products and would like to get yours at a discount like myself and countless awesome friends of mine do, I'm always happy to help you select your own starter kit to get your own discount rolling.  You'll be invited to some amazing stampy opportunities and be privy to some delightful sharing of ideas, hugs, fun and much more.  Just contact me any time or simply click here for further information.

Inky (((hugs))) to you!

Got Smiles to Send?

Hi everyone!  Today I'm sharing a creation that's actually a mix from the new Occasions Catalog with one of the free items you can choose from the Sale-A-Bration event.  Remember, Sale-A-Bration is in effect only until March 31!

I spotted the PPA284 sketch challenge on the last night before it ended ... but finished this project even though it was too late to be submitted for the challenge itself.  Hey ... no reason there to stop the creative enjoyment!

The circle of designer paper is from the Sale-A-Brations Wildflower Fields DSP collection (p. 12 SAB).  The mix of colors is lovely, and my color palette for the card was chosen from this paper.  Easy decisions .... gotta love'em!

The blossom was cut with the Botanical Builder Framelits dies, (Occasions p. 26).  This time I cut the blossom from Whisper White c/s, and added Lost Lagoon ink to the center and outer edges with a Sponge Dauber.  There's a bitty flower die cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper and a Rhinestone Jewel to finish off the center of the blossom.  The leaf was stamped with its coordinating stamp from the Botanical Blooms set (Occasions p. 27) ... which I swear is going to be a long-time favorite here for my personal stamping!

Check out this video featuring the entire bundle of products featuring the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies, Botanical Blooms stamp set, and the beautiful Botanical Gardens DSP!

Pssst!  The complete bundle comes at a 15% savings over single pricing, and ... it qualifies you for a free Sale-A-Bration item all at the same time!  I've included it in the product list below.

Questions?  Please feel most welcome to contact me!

Is your 'wish list' adding up to a little more than you thought?  Purchase the starter kit for $99 ... but get $155 product of your choice plus free shipping!

Challenged ... Snow Way!

Had to play in the latest Global Design Project challenge , GDP012, to 'case the designer'!  The designer to case?  The one + only Brian King!  We could use Brian's card to inspire color, theme, style, stamps ... however the card inspires each stamper.

I was taken with Brian's sketch, then I pulled out the same stamp set, flipped the sketch and chose snowmen rather than penguins ... The darling "Snow Place" stamp set has been begging to play here, and this was the perfect way to let it loose on the stampin' table!

I created a happy snow-people family coming out to play in their early, unexpected snow!

And since I can barely stamp without using Stampin' Dimensionals, the playday needed dimension!

Note:  I've looked 'n looked for a pic from July's convention to share here ... but currently, that flash drive is MIA.  If it peeks out from it's amazing hiding spot, I'll update.   LOL  Letting it go for now 'n moooooooving on ... there are Thanksgiving preparations to get started here!

Thanks ever so much for your online orders!  Remember that if you use the current Host Code CATXACAJ with your $30+ order right now, you'll be entered into my drawing for a stamp set from the upcoming Occasions 2016 Catalog!  This includes orders from the Online Extravaganza (sale ends Nov. 30 ... so hurry)!

Inky hugs!

Love is Kindness ~ with a Twist of Cantaloupe

Today was supposed to be a day for planning projects for next week's Technique Saturday class.  But .... I browsed around for some inspiration, and then a little side-track happened.

(Confession with a sigh:  This is not an unusual event for me.)

But then, something that is unusual for me happened!
I found two challenges that inspired me!

This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge, IC476, features wedding cakes galore.  Oh my, oh my!!   Earlier I had noticed the Sketch Saturday #344 challenge.  Now I'm not one to combine challenges very often, so it was an enjoyable creative exercise!

I really do like the new single stamp from the Occasions catty, Love is Kindness.  The sentiment rings so true, and I can easily think of people who would appreciate a card with this expression.

Pick a set of Blendabilities for the tulips (I used Calypso Coral), add on Old Olive Blendabilities for the foliage, and this just-right sized image comes to life in a few inky strokes.

Add in a few Stampin' Dimensionals for some added depth, and this sketch works for clean and simple, or a more layered style ... whatever suits your creative needs!

Remember!   Sale-A-Bration is in progress right now.  That means for every $50 product purchased, you earn a free item of your choice from the Sale-A-Bration brochure!   Additionally, every $50 earns a punch on my year-round Customer Rewards Program.  It's definitely an exciting time to be a Stampin' Up! customer!

Hopefully you've found a bit of inspiration today.  I do appreciate your visit!  If you would like to order the products I've used for this project, I'd love for you to allow me to be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  My SU website is available for orders 24/7, and I'm always happy to answer any questions you might have if you contact me.  Just click the "Contact Bev" button in the left column of this blog to send an email.
