Catalog Ideas Live On with a Ho! Ho! Ho!

Those who have been stampers for a while might recall that the Stampin' Up! Catalog was formerly known as the Idea Book 'n Catalog!  There are still times when I share that with a new-to-my classes customer to encourage actually 'using' our catalog as a source of creative inspiration.  And why not?  Stampin' Up! employs so many talented designers to create their samples, stamps, and catalogs.  So, next time you're stumped for something 'new' to try, get a cup of your favorite sipper and curl up with a catalog!  (Or not, if it's still too hot for curling up in your territory.)

Ho! Ho! Ho!   Have you ever wished for more than just 2 sheets of same design in the designer series paper collections?  I have, so I was happy to open up my This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.  It has 4 each of 6 double-sided designs.  Love getting to create more of a favorite project from one package of paper!

This wreath is from the amazingly versatile Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.  It can be pumpkins, carriage wheels, Mickey Mouse ears, tumbleweeds, bird nests, and a long list of other things besides 'just scribbles'.  Just add some of the fun Mini Jingle Bells and some Linen Thread to a 5/8" wide strip of Very Vanilla c/s, snip the ends and your wreath banner is ready to go.  "Ho Ho Ho" is from the Oh, What Fun! stamp set.  "Happy Christmas" is found in the same set, and is a perfect sentiment for the inside of this card.
